2008 Summer Writing Academy

Top-notch writers in their genres will teach this week-long series of intensive writing classes at Sul Ross University, in West Texas. Location
All classes will be held on the campus of Sul Ross University in Alpine, Texas, located near Marfa, Fort Davis, and Big Bend National Park. This is a wonderful opportunity to sharpen your writing skills and explore the beautiful, rugged terrain of West Texas.
Class Format
Registrants in the Academy can enroll in one of four classes. Each class meets Monday
through Friday, July 14 - 18 from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. (with a 1 hour break each day for lunch). Classes are limited to 20 students each.
Lodging
Rooms in the Sul Ross dormitory are available for $25 per night and a cafeteria meal plan is also available. Continuing education credit is available.
