In The Compleat Nonfiction Writer, participants will discover that, while
having the chops to write their book is indispensible, writing skill is only part
of what it takes to be a regularly working pro. Many are the well-written books
that don't find a home with a publisher. While the workshop will be suitable to
writers garnering general information, it will be tailored for participants who
bring, share, discuss and hone their current projects.
James
L. Haley, past WLT president, is the author of fifteen books, eleven of
them nonfiction. He has published with Doubleday, St. Martin's Press, University
of Oklahoma Press, Simon & Schuster/Free Press, Perseus/Basic Books, and others.
